The good news: Clark Howard has given a wild variety of well-researched consumer focused information for over three decades. For 22 of those years, I have listened to his dorky, goofy and optimistic delivery style that keeps the content from being dry, dark or too technical. The bad news: Enjoy Clark while you can. He admits to having serious health issues yet has not discussed on the podcast about his plans to make sure his unique brand of "unbought and unbossed" consumer advice can continue after he retires, or is forced to retire. What a hypocrite! Clark talks all the time about making sure to plan for the future, having a will, the value of disability insurance, and taking care of your employees. Clark and his staff have worked so hard to create and maintain the podcast. Just for his multi-generational audience and employees to suddenly and permanently lose it all because Clark did not take his own advice.

Clark is an excellent host, and his podcast does a fantastic job of bridging the world of radio with the convenience of podcasts. His advice is always solid when it comes to financial topics, and even when it's not, he takes time each week to accept criticism from his listeners. I can't even begin to describe the things I've learned from listening to his show, and I know his tips and tricks have saved me money and changed the way I view saving and spending. I highly recommend this show to anyone who wants to learn tips and tricks about saving money, spending less, and avoiding ripoffs.
