Last week I did my top five acts of compassion in Star Wars. And I received the suggestion several times that the perfect follow-up was to look for compassion in Thje Lord of the Rings. Written by JRR Tolkien, published in 1954-1955, the adventures of Frodo, Gandalf and their friends is a favourite to many! And it is full of love, friendship, kindness, and compassion.
