Let’s learn a little more about our first guest. Author Molly Muldoon has worked on books like Dead Weight and Cardboard Kingdom. It turns out a murder mystery and a children's book are not as different as you'd think.
When I started Crownsgrave I wanted listeners to not only hear an interesting story in a strange place, but learn more about the players themselves. In this interview I sit down with Molly and ask about her latest work and her experiences playing roleplaying games. What’s it like writing a mystery with someone else? You can find out this and other damning evidence in this interview episode. The Curious Accounts of Crownsgrave is an actual play podcast running a custom version of Dungeon World for only two people. Every story involves a DM (Kevin Wilson) and a new player, who navigates the wondrous city of Crownsgrave. Brimming with real people but bizarre situations. Think about how normal it is that we obey painted lines on the ground. Now imagine you can turn into a goat whenever you want. Weird, right? I can’t believe we don’t crash into each other all the time.
Want to learn more about the show? Go to Crownsgrave.com or follow us on twitter @crownsgrave. There we’ll be posting updates and sharing other shows we like. Rate, review, or just shake your head and say our name with a tone that implies you think we’re strange. But still, deep down, respect us. We keep showing up on your phone. Bringing you that non-alcoholic drink you kinda like but feel awkward about no longer liking as much as we think. But gosh darn it we’re just so friendly you can’t say no.
Still here? Thank you for reading this far. You’re one of the select few. We will call on you for a special mission sometime in the future.
