really really love this one!!! really dig the format, the whole postal element almost feeling like you’re not supposed to be hearing it?? adds this kinda fun element, and really compliments the anthology nature it’s got going on. the narration is SO awesome, conway is an awesome narrator to follow, and the stories so well written and presented that i often found myself surprised episodes were over because i was so engrossed in them! the atmosphere is a wonderful blend of deeply unsettling and fascinatingly bizarre. totally recommend it and cannot wait for more!!
The format is compelling and easy to get into, with most of the episodes featuring two dead letters that play off each other in interesting ways. The stories are unique and well-written, and I love the different voices Conway brings to each. Delightfully creepy and funny!
I thoroughly enjoyed this podcast. I was looking for something different (more paranormal in nature) and stumbled across this on Twitter. The content is told through the perspective of different archived media that never reached its destination. Each story is incredibly unique and you can tell that the creator carefully crafted each tale before recording it. If you're looking for a spooky style podcast (that isn't an AP TTRPG), I'd highly recommend you check it out. The atmosphere is very light and easy to enjoy.
The cryptic, lost letters that find their way into the Dead Letter Office are engrossing and delightfully spooky. I love Conway's voice and the delivery of the letters is excellent. Each episode gives the promise of a new mystery, and I can't wait for more.
Each episode has different stories that are dark with a hint of humor. I like the format of the stories being from letters that got stuck in the system or lost.
Great start - a nifty premise that's compellingly narrated!
This podcast is almost deceptive in how good it is. At first I thought it was somewhat formulaic - single narrator, reading out creepy stories - but it quickly sets itself apart with a slow build to a fantastic end to the first season, and an absolutely mind-bending second season that left me just in awe and anxious for more.I love how surreal yet relatable this audiodrama is, definitely looking forward to more.
There is something naughty about listening to stories I shouldn't be hearing, even if they are fictional, and that's probably why I enjoy this podcast so much. The first season is strong, it starts slow, but builds well, with a strong finish. And the second season doesn't fail to deliver! It's an absolute blast, and leaves you with a scratch that needs itching by the end.
