Although the talk was promoted to be an exclusive conversation, it didn’t bring anything new or importance to the table. Mrs Georgieva trudged carefully in relation to her answers which is to be expected. She can’t afford to anger anyone; as all countries pay a significant portion in relation to its GDP. However, I was happy and quite frankly impressed with the Economist Ask Team; the questions were proactive. When Mrs Georgieva stated that all the countries are collaborating and working together to fight the pandemic, one of the hosts questioned the remark by reminding the guest that world countries faced this pandemic more divided than ever as tension rises because of economic spats ; Tariff , and wars. Mrs Georgieva didn’t take the bait; Well., I didn’t expect her though ?
