This show is masterfully done. The sound design, voice acting, and story are superb. The Edge of the World doesn't beat around the bush when it comes to the realistic horror of living in a post-apocalyptic world. It doesn't try to be melodramatic. It shows how terrible the end can be, how people act when it comes, and shows that most of the time the people that don't make it out alive are the ones who most deserve to live. I don't usually cry at things (well, not TOO MUCH maybe) but some of these episodes had me sobbing. That said, this show isn't completely hopeless. There remains a mystery to be solved, moments of humor, and the persistent belief that maybe we're not so alone--no matter how bleak things may look. All in all, an excellent listen. I'll be greatly anticipating new episodes as they come!
