Leona Lewis (@leonalewis/@leonalewis) joins me on the podcast to talk about her role as an Ambassador for the MTV Staying Alive Foundation and its partnership with Kiehl's. We also discuss happiness, pursuing your passions and overcoming the hurdles we all inevitably face in life. She also explains how pushing herself beyond her comfort zone is the key to personal growth and finding happiness and how journalling and goal setting help her stay focussed.

As well as selling over 20 million records worldwide Leona is a passionate humanitarian and animal rights activist working with organisations including The Prince's Trust, Teenage Cancer Trust, Sport Relief, WWF, Humane Society, World Animal Protection and many more. She also a supporter of Hopefield Animal Sanctuary who care for unwanted, mistreated and sick animals.

Also in this conversation I speak to the Executive Director and Founder of the MTV Staying Alive Foundation, Georgia Arnold (@georgiaarnold/@georgiaarnold99), who talks to me about the foundation's continued efforts to create awareness around HIV/AIDS, the grants they award, how her career in MTV started and why now, more than ever, we need to talk about safe sex. She tells me about the early days of MTV, the inspirational people the foundation supports and champions and how YOU can get involved in supporting the foundation.

MTV Staying Alive is a global charity dedicated to stopping the spread of HIV/AIDS and in her role as Ambassador Leona has designed a limited edition pot with Kiehl's for their best-selling Creamy Eye Treatment with Avocado. Kiehl's will donate £10 from each pot sold to the MTV Staying Alive Foundation to empower and educate young women on HIV prevention.

Georgia also runs social responsibility, which includes MTV Breaks that helps young people get into their chosen careers and jobs. If you want to get involved with the MTV Staying Alive Foundation click here >> GET INVOLVED. To view MTV Shuga follow the link here >> MTV Shuga.
