Carolyn Alessi is the Regional Director for Community Health and Well Being for Trinity Health of New England. Here she provides project and leadership support to the Joan C. Dauber Food Pantry, social care and clinical integration within the surgical service lines and safety net clinics, and has oversight of the Hospital Violence Intervention program.
Her expertise is in seeing the “big” picture. She is strategic in her approach to partnerships, working with diverse stakeholders to rally towards a common goal, facilitating crucial conversations and producing strong outcomes from the partner’s collective work. Since being at Trinity Health Of New England, Carolyn has been instrumental in raising over $1.6M to support the programs in the Hartford market. In 2022, she received the exclusive Paradigm for Parity Women on the Rise award for her efforts to recruit 4 companies to join the Paradigm for Parity
coalition including her own organization which signed the pledge to have diversity of women represent 50% of C-Suite and Board roles over the next 5 years.
Carolyn currently holds the position as State Leader for Million Women Mentors CT Chapter, a national network that encourages women and girls to pursue and persist in STEM. During her time as State Leader, she has grown the organization from 18 members to now over 300 members within the network.
