Carbs and fat are they good or bad for you?  There is a lot of hype online, in the media, and from health gurus on what to eat and what not to eat. In recent years, the focus has been on low carb, ketogenic diets as the ones that are the best for weight loss. But what is the truth? Do carbs make you fat?

Today, I am talking to Dr. Alan Christianson, a personal friend of mine, who like me is a huge science geek. One of the things that we are both particularly passionate about is the science around carbs and fats. This is a particularly controversial area because there's a really big gap between what the science actually says about this topic and the common ideas floating around on the internet and in books.
