"Research is formalized curiosity. It is poking and prying with a purpose. " -Zora Neale Hurston

Testing and measuring are absolutely essential to the growth of any business. In order to test and measure, consumer research is important. In this episode of The Entrepreneurial  You Podcast, Jordan  Kentris shared his knowledge on the value of user testing and consumer research to improve products and website conversion.

Here is a snippet of what  Jordan shared:

“So many different ways you can do research; so there is that usability testing that we just talked about; there is contact testing and product testing where you're testing a physical item or in the case of simply putting something in front of them and seeing how it is resonating. Then there are some broader research like market research so you can look at the competitive analysis. Some broader category level research...so If you for example you design household goods, what are other household good companies looking at? Or if you are doing custom wedding stationary, what are other stationery and wedding professionals doing in the market space and what kind of products do they have out there? And what are consumers looking for and how are they being engaged with their audiences?"
