Hunter McIntyre is an elite OCR (obstacle course racing) champion having won events at all levels of Tough Mudder and Spartan Race. He most recently won the ultra competitive Tough Mudder X this past July, and is the main star on Steve Austin's Battle Skull Challenge, which airs on CMT. 

A standout cross country runner and wrestler in high school, Hunter had his sights set on becoming a Navy SEAL until details about a prior arrest upended that dream. He embraced the adversity, put his heart and soul into his training and has since become a world class competitor on the OCR circuit, and was previously sponsored by both Reebok and Spartan Race. Today, Hunter is a sponsored Second Skin athlete, and competes in events all over the globe. Originally from New York, Hunter now resides in Malibu, CA and trains year round.
