In late July, the Missouri Valley Conference announced most fall sports, including women’s volleyball, would have the start of their seasons pushed back to September 18. Then, just 2 ½ weeks later, the MVC postponed the fall sports season.

In this episode, we talk with two of Indiana State University's head coaches about this year’s on-again, off-again, possibly on-again season. First up is ISU women's volleyball coach, Lindsay Allman. Coach Allman describes how her team has developed a common empathy for one another and how they're coping with unusual, and often shifting, protocols during practice.

Then we sit down with ISU head football coach, Curt Mallory, who tells how he went from "What's Zoom?" to a seasoned pro in short order. Coach Mallory explains what his staff and team did to stay fit and ready through the summer and fall, and what the upcoming winter schedule means to his team.

This podcast is a pilot program, and we are interested in your feedback. If you like it and want to continue getting updates on the people and programs that make Indiana State great, please email the ISU Alumni Association at [email protected].

We would love to hear what you think of the program and what topics you would like us to cover. Email us at [email protected] - be sure to use “dot info,” not “dot com.”
