Listen as Chuck and Ethan host a night of Halloween horror!  Listen to our discussion of Settlers of Catan, Episode III: Advanced Trading Strategies; why Dick Cheney is a Dick; things we don’t like about Hitler; why Hannibal Lecter is funny; and remembering the comedy of Mitch Hedberg and Bill Hicks.  With Special Guest Chris Limburg, the Fantasy Genius.

Here are the show notes:

Hannibal Lecter.  If you haven’t seen the movie, you are missing out on one of the greatest works of art of the 20th century!

Caligula.  Bob Guccione, the owner of Penthouse, produced this film, starring Malcolm McDowell in the titular role.  Ethan describes this movie as “a great film”; Chuck hasn’t seen it.

Dick Cheney says the best thing he ever did was tell Senator Pat Leahy to go fuck himself.

Comedy is dead in South Florida, but you’re already participating in the resurgence by listening to the podcast!

Chuck thinks the theme from Halloween is a bit like the abstract music of American composer Philip Glass, as found, for example, in the film Koyaanisqatsi.

Evil Chris Limburg, Chuck’s co-host on the Fantasy Idiot/Fantasy Genius podcast, is our guest as we tackle Settlers Trading Strategies, Part III:

In The Blue Lagoon, Dick LeStrange does indeed have sex with his cousin, as Ethan points out for some reason.

Ethan and Chuck discuss A Nightmare on Elm Street, Teen Wolf, and Teen Wolf Too.  Chuck correctly points out, to an incredulous Ethan, that Jason Bateman, of Arrested Developmentfame, starred in Teen Wolf Too back in the ’80s.

If you enjoyed our Mitch Hedberg clips, we encourage you to check out his official site, mitchhedberg.net.  You can also get his albums wherever fine rock’n’roll is sold, online.

If you enjoyed our Bill Hicks clips, we encourage you to check out his official site, billhicks.com.  You can purchase his albums wherever fine vitriolic prophecy is sold (or any online music store).

R.I.P Mitch & Bill, and Happy Halloween!  And don’t forget to write us at [email protected].
