The Hideous Laughter crew are absolutely fantastic. They run an exciting story and do an excellent job of running just the right amount of exposition to keep you immersed in the story without dragging out every little thing. Additionally, the audio quality is excellent and the players and GM all have a great rhythm together, which keeps me, at least, fully invested the whole episode.Would absolutely recommend this to anyone looking for a darker storyline in podcast form.Also, I would be remiss not to mention that all their character voices are fully committed and suited to the characters, especially everyone's favorite NPC, Horace Croon.

Absolutely love this podcast. Taking a great horror adventure and making it better with great character work, voices and added narrative to make the world of Ustalav feel like a more lived in place.Add on top a great energy of friends playing at the table, having some drinks and most importantly having a great time, you have the recipe for an outlandish time.Can't recommend enough.

The HLP is honestly one of the funniest, most intense, emotional, and definitely the most drunk actual play podcast I've listened to. Chemistry is excellent, production value is high, and their deep knowledge of the Pathfinder system makes for rich stories with zany, interesting character builds and more than a little homebrew that pushes the limits of Pathfinder to tell a cohesive story. Horror junkies will love the dark tone of the adventure, but the cast and crew are never far from lightening up tense situations with witty humor without detracting from the atmosphere. Highly recommend to anyone looking for serious actual play with a great sense of humor and a love of the game.

HLP has made great content from the start. They've had good audio and stories that have only gotten better. The cast members are all delightful and more importantly have AMAZING chemistry. Their flagship PF1e Carrion Crown run was incredible, and I can't wait to see their PF2e run of Skull & Shackles. The only reason that I wouldn't recommend HLP to someone is if they're not okay with alcohol mentions.
