Carolyne Larrington is Professor of Medieval European Literature at Oxford University and Official Fellow and Tutor at St. John's College. She is the author of a wonderful book on Norse Mythology called The Norse Myths: A Guide to the Gods and Heroes, as well as the author of a Translation of The Poetic Edda.
