Event Planning Tips with Jared Easley.

This episode is live to tape, recorded at The NAB Show at the Javits Convention Center in New York City. It's a special episode because The NAB (National Association of Broadcasters) selected only a handful of shows to record live at the conference.

Listen and find out from Jared what you need to consider when producing a conference or event. Jared Easley is the co-founder of Podcast Movement, possibly the largest podcast industry conference in the world with more than 2,000 attendees this year alone. He talks about budget, Pinterest, and some things to consider when striving to produce a quality event.

Shout-Outs:Hellos go out to Jared's daughter, Lana, whose birthday is coming up; Jeff Haveson in Newark, NJ; Stephen Jones in Baltimore, MD; and Mike Palmer in NYC of Trending in Education. Rachel Muckle of NAB is the co-producer of this episode.

Lee's City Spot:This week's fun place is a fabulous diner near Javits Convention Center: Skylight Diner at West 34th Street and 9th Avenue. Find out what Lee likes to order - and find out which dish Jared has to critique for us!
