In this episode of The James Sinclair Podcast I have a read through my 2nd book 'The Experience Business' to go through my 'Investor-preneur' rules. For the uninitiated, let me briefly explain. Investors look for profit. Entrepreneurs are always looking for opportunities. Fuse the two together and we look for profitable opportunities. If you're a business owner who has been around the block you might already know that not every business venture is a success. Infact, some businesses make so much more money than others. That's just the way it is. Richard Branson once said that business opportunities are like buses, there is always another one coming. But we, as investor-preneurs can seek out those opportunities that will work for us. Here's some of my personal investor-preneur rules as mentioned in my 2nd book:

- Can I scale the business?

- Is the business capital intensive?

- Is there a chance for high price-tag profitable sales?

- Is there a chance for residual income?

- Is it a 'me too' business or one with high barrier to entry?

- Is there a margin the in the business?

- Will people want to buy it?

- How much capital will I need to scale the business up?

- Is there a need for the business?

- After the initial setup, will it be easy to find management?
