LONG TIME listener of The Journal. Agree with the 5-star reviews. Most importantly, there are vanishing FEW balanced news outlets. WSJ is my go to. With that being said, the recent podcast, " Texas Took on Boarder Security. Is It Working?" was a HUGE departure from from a balanced story. I don't know if it was due to poor research or an intentional biased report. I'm hoping for the former because I need, the country needs, to know they can trust a news agency to be painstakingly fair. Particularly, when I'm not knowledgable on a subject. The Federal government's responsibility, both executive and legislative branches, have contributed greatly to the state of affairs. Zero mention. NYC's mayor, 2000 miles from the boarder, claims to be overwhelmed by the 90,000 immigrants. Texas has had of millions of immigrants! Citing the injuries to immigrants crossing the border, without mentioning the physical harm, property damage and constant fear of Americans living along the border was flat out irresponsible reporting. Safety, isn't a buzz word. It is everything when you suddenly realize you don't have it. It is not safe at the border for anyone, on either side. The State of Texas is not going to solve this issue, but they will do what they are responsible for - safety of their citizens. The Feds have a much broader reach in providing safely - on both sides of the border. The WSJ is way better than this. You guys occupy a completely different lane of news reporting. I beg you to stay in your lane. We need you to do that
