Recently, I sat down with Ralph Hudson who moved to Arkansas as a young boy. He joined the military, got married, left for a few years but eventually, Arkansas drew his family back home to the Natural State.

Ralph currently serves as the Director of Labor at the Arkansas Department of Labor and Licensing and is responsible for day-to-day operations of 6 operational sections, including OSHA Consultation, Arkansas Occupational Safety and Health (Public Sector), Code Enforcement, IT, Mediation, and Bureau of Labor Statistics.

Ralph has a BS in Organizational Management from John Brown University.  He and his wife currently attend Mosaic Church of Little Rock. He is an amateur coin collector, loves to read and loves his dogs, James Dean and Levi.  Married for over 40 years, he and Melva have 3 children: Matthew of Charlotte, NC, David of Little Rock, AR, and Lorén Eoff of Springdale, AR.  All three have blessed Ralph and Melva with grandchildren.
