Jon Ronson investigates an event that would otherwise be overlooked, and in doing so, he uncovers the nuances of an industry that no one else seems to care about: a world that no one really seems all that inclined to fully understand.
Tragic, interesting look into the death of a porn star. Ronson is extremely nonjudgmental and his voice is pleasant to listen to.
Such a great piece of storytelling and a fascinating look into a misunderstood/overlooked industry.
Although I do feel the first episode oversold the wacky hijinks involving the postage stamp collector, I thoroughly enjoyed this series. It certainly taught me to think about porn and the internet in a slightly different way.
This is like a Louis Theraux documentary but for your ears! A fascinating look at the impact of pornography becoming freely available online with the invention of Pornhub and the effect on numerous lives as a consequence. Don't be put off by the fact it's about porn. This podcast has covered this topic in a way that is tasteful and incredibly informative
