Sohide the kids first, then enjoy the show!}In this episode of the Lions of Liberty Podcast, we convene another session of our oh-so-jovial feature, “Libertarians in Living Rooms Drinking Liquor!” Host Marc Clairwelcomes in fellow liquored-up libertarians Brian McWilliams, our legalcounsel “Rico”, and a very special guest, the host of the Johnny RocketLaunch Pad, Johnny “Rocket” Adams! As per usual, the show begins with the crew revealing their drinks of choice.

Theconversation begins by looking at the most recent Republican debate. Rico brings up his issue with Donald Trumps statements on vaccines and autism and Dr. Ben Carson’s wishy-washy half-rebuttal. Johnny chimes in with a rant on the triviality of most of the debate questions, such as the burning question “what would your Presidential call sign be?”

Aftersuffering through Marc’s brutal Batman impression, we further look at the problem of how the current debates are more akin to a reality show, and Brian asks a question sure to rankle libertarians the world over, “Should the government run the debates?”

Thecrew then discuss how political conversation has degraded to the point where many people base their political on nothing more than internet memes and popularity contests, and wonder how we can get people to look at issues in a more thoughtful, rational manner.

AfterBrian explains why he thinks Ben Carson is so darn “adorable”, he triesto get Marc to commit by asking “Will you vote for Rand Paul?” We then look back at Ben Carson, and look at whether his views on evolution are adeal-breaker for a Presidential candidate.

Theconversation takes a brief sidebar to look at the recent ban of UFC fighter Nick Diaz from fighting in the state of Nevada due to a positivetest for marijuana, before turning back to skewer the candidates a bit more before signing off.
