Kendra and Hannah deep dive into the Taylor Swift / Tom Hiddleston madness for longer than humans probably should, plus talk on our favorite show on cannibalism, our favorite book on murdered children, and our favorite ice cream that doesn't have cream. And miracle of all miracles, Kendra saw a Matt Damon movie she didn't like. HORRORS.
We take this seriously. Here are Kendra and Hannah's favorite snacks and dinner convenience foods to make your life better. Plus what you can learn about snacking.
Kendra had a baby, and the sisters are 4000 miles and a four hour time difference apart. Translation? Recording a new episode has been quite the challenge. So today we share an archived episode that most of you haven't heard where the lazy sisters talk about cereal and Little Debbie snacks, i.e. very important things. So here's the big question: do you eat cereal for the cereal or for the milk?
Do you ever watch a movie and think "Ugh, I'd LOVE to be that character and have her clothes and her job and her hot Hollywood boyfriend"? Umm, clearly us, too. And here are our picks because we spend our time talking about important things.
Kendra and Hannah got to spend the week together, so of course they went to see a movie. Here's their review of James McAvoy Looking Incredibly Hot I mean X-Men: Apocalypse.
ALL the tears. Every time. Without fail. Do you have movies like that? Listen to our list, and then share your own in the comments. Extra tissues needed.
Being with little people all day can make you crazy, but when Benedict Cumberbatch tells you you're a good mom, it makes it all better. In this episode, Kendra and Hannah talk about how embracing your inner fangirl actually makes you a better mom.
Kendra and Hannah dive deep into Hollywood's roster and create celebrity power couples that would change the industry and the world of entertainment magazines forever. Not to mention our fragile hearts. See if you can get behind any of the choices. Have your own picks? Leave them in the comments!
We talk about all the shocking things in recent pop culture: Miley and Liam's engagement, Tina Fey's Walgreens commercials, the week of Bowie/Rickman, and how Hannah is coping after the Alaskan earthquake. Hilarious spoiler: she was drunk when it happened.
Nicholas Sparks is an "expert" on love stories... if your love stories include unforeseen tragedy, southern beach towns, and kissing in the rain. Kendra and Hannah don't buy the existence of the "Nicholas Sparks" man and just want a guy who will wash the dishes and let you nap sometimes. That's a real leading man.
We root for them, long for them, and relish them when they happen. In this episode, we talk about our favorite proposals and weddings in movies and television. There's also some PG-13 goodness if you make it to the end of Our Longest Episode Yet.
We have sunk deep into the pits of humiliation to try and get boys to like us. Listen to see if they worked. (They did NOT.)
If you're not familiar with The Enneagram, it's a personality typing system that helps you understand how you see the world, and we LOVE IT. We're talking about it today, plus an update on Hannah watching New Girl. Stuff We Mentioned:The Enneagram InstituteTake a free test to find out your type! The Liturgists Podcast on the Enneagram
Hannah is back in North Carolina! For good! We catch up on jet lag, nursery rhymes, and what we've been watching. Slash Hannah's daughter Imi busts her face throughout the recording. And Kendra's son Ben makes his own tired appearance. It's real, y'all. Super real.
We've been podcasting for almost four years, and we need a little break. We. Love. You. Thanks for listening, whether you just started or have been with us since the beginning. We'll be back.
Did you listen to our last episode? Do you remember all the sickness and airplane drama and life that took over our brains? It didn't stop for quite some time. Which is why today some of you folks who have been with us for awhile might find this next episode familiar... it is. But it's one of our favorites because we like to talk about celebrity crushes, and we hope you enjoy listening to it as much as we had fun talking about it... a year ago. Germs are stupid.
We head down the Disney track, discussing the most inappropriate Disney cartoon ever, Hannah's crush on Vanessa Hudgens, and Zac Efron's lack of a neck. Let's waste time on the unimportant things that we all actually care about. Hope you enjoy listening!
Have you ever wanted to play a fun party game and destroy your soul at the same time? Kendra and Hannah play Marry, Date, or Dump but with movies and TV shows. Come up with your own lists and see how ridiculously hard this is.
Tina has her credit card. Jon Bon Jovi turns back time in your living room. Benicio del Toro looks like he's going to roofie your beer. And these commercials didn't even make the cut! Listen to hear the ones that did.
We rival anyone in our obsession for movies and weird food. Where did it all start? With Arsenic and Old Lace and bowls of ketchup. Isn't that the start of any origin story?
What happens when an independent woman is in danger of being injured by a dumpster? A hot blond doctor saves her, of course. This is the reality of the romantic comedy, i.e. the most unrealistic movie genre around. And we LOVE IT.
Everyone is afraid of something - heights, roller coasters, the dark. But are you afraid of, um, bowel irregularity? Because Hannah is. And it gets real. You're about to listen to the episode where Kendra and Hannah laugh harder than any other and share the embarrassing truths that never thought they'd say into a microphone.
Vacations are supposed to be awesome, and sometimes they are. But then sometimes they're filled with way too many fanny packs. Put in your earbuds, take a quick walk, and have a laugh.
Kendra and Hannah talk about all the important things - how to cook the perfect egg, how Hannah is in a real life Serial, and who would make the best apocalyptic makeout partner.
Kendra and Hannah are back! Kendra had her baby, Hannah is still across the country in Alaska, and the two finally had a conversation about books, the Met Gala, the perfect X-Men scenario, and chorizo, all while Kendra held her new baby who occasionally coos FYI.
