#088: Weapon Snatcher John Carughi

On today’s episode, Greg and Brian are joined by John Carughi, who is usually referred to as the “Weapon Snatcher.”
A few months ago John was working a security detail for a news station covering the riots in Seattle when he witnessed a looter break into a police car, steal the rifle from inside and then begin firing the weapon indiscriminately. John immediately sprang into action and took the weapon from the shooters' hands before they could hurt anyone.
Only minutes later, John witnessed another rioter steal another rifle from a different police car. John once again stepped in and snatched the rifle out of his hands which was caught on film by the news crew. If you would like to see the video, check the episode details for the link.
On the show, John talks about the planning and preparation he did leading up to the events of that day that prepared him for the situation he faced. Stick around until the end where John gets into what he’s been working on since the incident.
