In the war between heaven and hell, a teenage girl is the world’s chosen savior, and she has to be mentored by a cranky lesbian who can’t die and a stuffy Brit from a stuffy religious order. Like Buffy meets Constantine made for HBO’s lurid sensibilities. Much cursing and gratuitous straight, gay, and lesbian sex scenes. Also, found families. I love it.

This is like if the "Don't fuck with me! I have the power of God and anime on my side!" meme came to life in a 2-season saga. You can just tell that the quality of this show is from 2010 by people that were just trying to have fun. But if you can handle the melodrama and ridiculousness, you will find a very fascinating action adventure, with some bonus drugs, lots of gay/lesbian/straight sex, and questionable Christian (anti-Christian?) battles. oh! Also, this show has Pendant's typical amazing music and soundtrack. The music in all their shows are very underrated and epic.

Got three episodes in. Couldn't get into it.
