I honestly dont know why this podcast hasn't gotten more traction in the community, it's got everything, drama, comedy, suspense. You name it they got it, personally my favorite character wont show up till later in the campaign but hes just hilarious and the side story is equally amazing. Love the cast and love the characters
One of the best Actual Play Podcasts out there! They combine great characters with endearing backstories and companions with a fantastic story. Kudos to all involved!
Great Actual Play that follows 3 different people navigate the approaching apocalypse. The players will impress you with their evolution over the episodes and the DM will vow you with their believable and breathing world that reacts to the players decisions. Take this journey, you won’t regret it.
Amazingly well written and acted. I love the characters and all the interpersonally relationships between them. Regularly makes me smile and car while listening. Defintely worth a listen and all the people involved make the world come to life.
I've been listening to this podcast for over a year now and am still loving it. The characters and actors are amazing it's the best dnd podcast I've found.
This is one of my favourite podcasts and it's absolutely binge-worthy, some really great editing as well. Volanda is an amazing storyteller and surprisingly manages to keep her cool in the face of the players' shenanigans, and the players just do such a good job making you feel for and with the characters and celebrating moments of character development. Everyone involved in this podcast has an obvious strong love for good narratives, so be prepared to dive deep into their world and stay there. You won't be sorry.
If I could rate this podcast every day, I would. This the most thought out, fleshed out, and cared for of all the worlds that I have been given the opportunity to learn about. The adventure is action packed. The role playing only gets better. The additional voice actors are top notch. Every npc interaction is a gem. Give them a listen and you will love, laugh, cry, despise, care for, and empathize with the characters as well as the players and DM. Enjoy.
I love absolutely everything about this podcast. The cast, their characters and out of character. I've binged the first 130 episodes and still working my way to being caught up. I have literally cried, laughed out loud and raged through this story. All the while, feeling like I'm getting to know the crew as much as the characters. The amount of thought and prep and utterly unbelievable world creation Volonda puts in is beyond words to me. There are not enough words to coherently explain how much I am enjoying this podcast. I almost don't want to catch up, because I'm afraid it will one day end.. but I also can't stop listening! Hats off to everyone involved in this show. It's amazing
Well I would have to say that this is a great podcast. V and her crew have entertained me for countless numbers of hours.
Amazing storytellers, wonderful voice work, and holy moly that DM! Volunda has created an exciting and encompassing world with so much diversity and heart! The music is all created by one of the players and it slaps! That opening theme song is beautiful and haunting. These players clearly care about each other and they know their characters so well. If you are a fan of dnd or of excellent story telling, this is the podcast for you.
You know how in pretty much any podcast/book/tv series, you have your favourite characters, and if they split the group, you're sort of bored, waiting to get back to the characters you like? Yeah...that doesn't really happen here. I tend to prefer when the group is together, simply because they're great together (and the puns happen more when they're all together...), but when they split, there aren't boring episodes.I've quit listening to other podcasts because their theme tune is too obnoxious (not gonna happen with TLD...all of the music is incredible) or a single character annoys me too much (Trempal came close a couple of times. At least he's not always there), but TLD is one I've listened to twice. What's that, like 14 days of content? There are so many tiny details that re-listening doesn't get boring, and I'm loving the Beyond the Eclipse episodes that go into how the early episodes were made :~)
