A fantastic podcast that makes you feel as if you are there with them. Their hilarious take on films will leave you laughing out loud as well as screaming in frustration. The Movie Cellar Rewind miniseries is amazing and shouldn't be cancelled... EVER!

I really enjoyed this pod. Great production and audio quality, fab chemistry between the hosts, well researched and very well put together. I particularly enjoyed the ‘coin toss’ dynamic.I first checked out the Monty Python episode because......Python! All was going well until Chris spoke! *Insert shocked face here. To favour Joe Dirt over Holy Grail is perhaps even funnier than the movie itself!But...y’know what!? I think this really added to the levels of entertainment, better than all the hosts being in complete agreement and nodding along to the same points (although I was very appreciative whenever Dan & George interjected to claim Chris was just plain wrong!) I was literally shouting at my phone and it all added to the immersion and the feeling I was part of the conversation, something most Pods struggle to do.The 2 hours flew by and I’m looking forward to getting my teeth into more of the episodes. Overall, a thoroughly enjoyable pod, a movie pod that’s a little bit different and all the better for it. Great job guys

Now in my regular rotation. The format is great. Three guys going through a VHS collection alphabetically and making the final choice about which movie to watch by coin flip. Brilliant. But what really makes is the chemistry between the hosts. You can tell they have know each other for a while and are never bashful about telling each other they are wrong. Occasionally I am disappointed by the coin flip, but luckily they will usually do a bonus episode of the other movie if it was good enough to deserve one. Even though this review seems pretty positive, I imagine Prodoucher Chris will find something to complain about. Come for the half-baked movie critiques, but stay for the Indiana Jones fan fiction!

Listen, the reason why the Movie Cellar works is because it's itself and it won't apologize for it. Unlike almost all of the other movie review podcasts where they're constantly going to the theaters, always reviewing the latest thing, and talking about movies that I don't have the time to see or have even heard of, the Movie Cellar knows what people want. They aren't going to the theaters, they're in a basement. They aren't reviewing the biggest CGI blockbuster mess or the latest pretentious biopic of some 13th century French nobleman. They're reviewing the movies that we all know and love (or hate) and reminding us why we love them (or hate them)! The setup is simple, they have a choice of movies going in alphabetical order, they pick one, they watch it right there, and they review it right away. It feels like you're kicking back with your friends on a Saturday night, renting a movie from Blockbuster, and sweating, hoping that you'll remember to rewind the tape when you return it the next day. Kick back, relax, and enjoy a trip through the VHS collection.

Being a huge movie fanatic, I enjoy this podcast. The hosts are great. The chemistry is great. The banter is great. And as an added bonus Dan sounds like Kevin Smith. If you enjoy movies, than this pod is for you.

These dudes watch old movies and chat it up. Feels like hanging with old friends. We love the variety of movies they cover and the jibes they throw.

Wonderful podcast. It’s great fun listening to three friends just talking movies. You feel like you could easily join their conversation. It’s honest, natural, and fun. If you’re looking for a movie review podcast from the every-mans perspective, this is the one for you.

This podcast is by far one of the best I have every listened to! Movie talk and general conversations about life experiences make this podcast feel as if you are right there sitting amongst friends! The guys all compliment each other well and make every episode a joy to listen to. Chris and his continued learning of film is quite entertaining, George with his laid back and care free attitude and Dan with his iron fist rule over the pod (I guess he knows a thing or two about movies). Their featured guests from time to time Trev and Zach are also something to look forward to. Can’t wait to see what this pod blossoms into! Keep up the good work guys!
