Cindy Williams, Ph.D. Is the Executive Director of Women Are Dreamers Too, Inc., which is a non-profit organization helping victims of domestic violence, transcend poverty.  Williams joins The Nadia Sahari Show to discuss the goals and initiatives of this organization as well as how the public can become more involved with insuring all homes and communities are violence free.
We are currently signing folks up online and have new initiatives about Training victims of domestic violence to become CNAs (Certified Nursing Assistants) who work in Nursing homes and hospitals. We have an outreach for the Holidays whereby we reach out to our target population so they may find out more about us and realize that help is available.
Our Outreach this year we are using Breakaway to encourage abused victims to talk about their issues using the excerpts from Breakaway as a guide.
They may also sign up for holiday wishes from now until Nov. 30th, this way they may have enough gifts at best toys for their Children.
