Thank you for listening to the Cancer Talks podcast with Eva Bartos, Health and Wellness Coach. On 29th January 2020, Eva received a phone call telling her she had breast cancer. She thought she pulled a muscle in her chest after exercising, was investigating and then found a strange lump instead. She made the decision to get it checked further. It was not in a place where a mammogram would find it so fortunately, she had a brilliant doctor ready to support her. As Eva said, ‘she was like a pit bull in a skirt!’ This is Eva’s story on how she managed chemo, surgery and recovery through learning to love and care for herself more.
