We’ll consider reality-based ways to maintain sustainable forward momentum.Marilee Harrison is the KC Oasis Executive Director. She retired from a career as a psychotherapist specializing in trauma and abuse issues, after receiving a B.A. in Psychology from Wichita State University and Master of Social Work from the University of Kansas. Once a religious fundamentalist, she emerged from her roots in a Mennonite community to become a secular community organizer. She founded and coordinated secular, reason-based organizations at the local and state level, and served in national leadership positions. Maintaining an abiding commitment to social justice, she was at the forefront of marriage equality, officiating hundreds of weddings as a Humanist Celebrant.
