I LOVE the orbiting human circus, it ended up meaning so much to me. I heavily relate to Mr. Cameron as a character but I think every character are some of the best written characters in any podcast I've listened to. I ended up sobbing at work over the latest season as I listened to it, I also LOVE that plot twist and the concept as a whole.
When someone tells you that fiction podcasts are just radio dramas 2.0, don't try to explain to them all the nuances that differentiate the two. They're just thinking about The Orbiting Human Circus: a beautiful show that weaves its tale with the magic of days gone by (literally, I guess...)
This show employs spot-on vintage audio filters and old-timey acting performances that send you into a wonderful state of being an awed, child-eyed wonderer. You'll shrink down and float into the grills of a vintage wooden wireless radio set and meet a fantastic world of characters and events. Modern podcast sensibilities comingle and the juxtaposition is most intriguing. Black humor, slapstick and pathos flicker about. A truly unique podcast and I'm assuming the live show is equally beguiling!
