Now that the House passed the Domestic Terrorism Prevention Act, it’s time for Professor Giordano to revisit the bill and explains how it can be easily abused to target political opponents. This bill essentially codifies the Biden administration’s National Strategy for Countering Domestic Terrorism. If this bill is passed by the Senate and signed into law, it will be nearly impossible to dismantle the program, and this new domestic terrorism law can easily be abused to target political opponents.
