Then he did it. On August 30, 2020, he delivered a stemwinder of a sermon on YouTube (not from his parish church), titled “You Cannot Be Catholic & a Democrat. Period.” It went more viral than his already popular videos. And, not shockingly, his bishop, William Callaghan, issued a Statement rebuking the messenger, although he seemed also to agree with the truth of the message.
