Chris Curran chats with podcasters about their audio equipment, software and workflow. Learn step-by-step how they are producing podcasts, solutions to common audio issues, and plenty of tips and tricks. By listening every week you will gain a TON of audio production knowledge and skills that will make a HUGE difference in the quality of your sound, and also save you time. Your host Chris Curran has a background in podcast production (Forbes, Dun & Bradstreet, J&J, etc) as well as music production (Sarah McLachlan, Jeff Buckley, Foreigner, etc). When he entered podcasting in 2012, he noticed that most podcasters (and producers) do not have a solid understanding of fundamental audio engineering concepts, which sabotages the quality of their sound from the very beginning. This show, as well as Podcast Engineering School, helps podcasters and producers reach professional levels of podcast audio production.

This is one of the best "podcasts on podcasting," especially from a technical perspective. Chris has a solid background in audio engineering and approaches each episode with one goal in mind – "how to make your podcast sound better." He brings in guests to share their perspectives and does it in an entertaining way. If you want to "sound great," listen to this podcast!
Like to talk about microphones, mixers, and most of all plugins? This is YOUR show! In addition to gear, it's fun hearing about other people's set ups and approaches to podcast audio. It's fantastic to have this podcast dedicated to helping make all podcasts sound better. Chris Curran gets 5-stars for sharing his stellar audio engineering expertise. Barry gets a perfect 10!
I can't begin to tell you how much I've learned from (and how much I enjoy) this show. Everything from the Barry clips to each guest sharing their signal flow and workflow (and maybe geeking out a little on channel strips and vocal enhancers and mastering processes) to the daily goody roundup. All-around stellar show made by a world-class guy who just needs a couple of horses and a couple of mules to take his show to the next level.
