My name is Shannon Hernandez. I'm a 20+ year radio veteran in the Phoenix, Arizona area for a radio station 98KUPD-FM. On the side, I'm also a podcast producer, a podcaster and a YouTuber. I've also spoken at conferences like Podcast Movement.

In my time as a radio broadcaster and podcast producer, it has been my mission to share knowledge and merge the art of radio broadcasting with podcasting and vice versa.

The reason I created this podcast was to give you my take on what I think podcasters should be doing when it comes to creating high quality podcasts. You can expect to hear marketing and promotion tips from the radio industry and how it will apply to podcasters and podcasting. Also, I want to share with you the best tips in production and content creation--specifically in sound design, because sound design is the secret weapon to your marketing.

You're also going to hear interviews with radio industry pros who want to help you expand your skillset beyond the technical side of podcasting.

I also want to share with you strategies and tips to improve your marketing efforts as you're podcasting.

I created The Podcast Therapist to be your sounding board to becoming a better podcaster.
