I got on podchaser today when I heard that they were doing some great charitable initiatives, so I’m finally rating some of my favorite podcasts! The Projection Booth is a listener’s dream podcast. It goes deeeeeeep into movies that matter. Mike and Co (especially Heather Drain) are so excellent at what they do. In a world of pretenders, The Projection Booth is the real thing!!!!

The Projection Booth delivers wide intelligent discussion on films of all types. It's not academic in its approach so anyone can get something out of it, yet it always delivers thoughtful and well researched conversations to make you see films in a new light or discover ones you never knew about (but should investigate).

As entertaining as it is informative, The Projection Booth is an essential podcast for any film buff. Don't be daunted by the longer running times, the hours fly by and episodes can easily be paused and listened to over several sessions. So sit back, buckle in. Solid podcast with great deep dive reporting, although definitely not for beginners. Deducting one star for completely missing the historical background behind "1984" and going straight for trite modern political comparison instead
