In our conversation, Vasavi describes emotional sobriety as the ability to deal with life without having to reach for things externally to make us feel good on the inside (soo good, right?!). At the time of recording, she was five months sober and living in a sober living house. And, my love, this conversation with her is one of the greatest sermons I’ve ever heard. One year ago, Vasavi was living a double life: coach, social worker, and TV personality by day, cocaine and alcohol addict by night.
