Sometimes we get bored with God. But is it boredom or lust for a new experience? ---Have you ever just been sitting in your same ole house and think to yourself, “What if I just sold everything and moved to a cabin in the woods?”. Or maybe you look at your walls and think to yourself just how desperately you want to know out that wall and open up the living room. No? Just us?
Well, we do this same thing with our faith. Many of us were raised with the idea that we had to constantly be on the hunt for the next big God experience. We needed to go to the nicest conferences and hear the best teachers get our spiritual high. But once the mundane sets in, we are left dealing with a pile of spiritual wanderlust.
This week, we take the conversation on the road with this installment of “Reckless on the Road”, where we talk about our innate desire for change and how that drives our relationship with Christ forward or drives it mad! We talk about how the grass being greener on the other side isn’t always a good thing and that despite it being good and healthy to pursue our faith forward, let that not be an example of forcing things along too fast. ---JOIN THE COMMUNITY:If you'd like to keep the conversation going, we want to invite you, our reckless listeners, to join The Reckless Community!
