As an avid weight trainer, rock climber, and mountain biker, John Abdo is a former Olympic Weightlifter who competed for over twelve years. He has also served as a Strength & Conditioning Coach for numerous Olympian and professional athletes for the sports of Olympic Weightlifting, Mixed Martial Arts, Powerlifting, and Speed Skating, to name a few. From 1985-1997, John was the executive producer and host of The Weight Room, a weekly television series which explored the principles athletes and coaches instituted to enhance performance and recover from their exertions. John has authored numerous books, some of which include Make Your Body a Fat-Burning Machine, Vital Living From the Inside Out, and Ultimate Sexual Health & Performance. John is also an award-winning inventor and product formulator, two of which include the spinal-core conditioning system, AbDoer®, and the male-health supplement, Androzene®. In 2007, John was inducted into the National Health & Fitness Hall of Fame. And has just released his new book: Wolves of Croton - The Untold Story of Milo.
