I like the story of this show and I got sucked in from the start. It feels dystopian, dark and Synnøve Pan's narration gives this show a thrilling vibe. Give this show a try - it gets better with every new episode!

I wanted to like it! The setup is compelling and so are the brief glances we get of the characters. But it's all kind of just given to you on and never followed up on. Would have like more dynamism and stakes on the personal level. Not a bad listen, though.

Magnificent.This show has an awesome story, deep soundscape, great voice acting and genuinely interesting worldbuilding. It's directly Lovecraftian, not in that glib kitchen-sink pastiche overloaded with references way. Instead, The Second Oil Age actually builds the source material up into a cool, coherent, cyberpunkish dystopian fiction. Highly recommended.

A story set in a rich and beautifully constructed world. You hear advertisements and radio transmissions from it, parts of its culture and politics, and it's truly like you're visiting, for a little while. The story fits seamlessly into this world. An exceptional experience.
