Episode #66 of Season 2 of The Social Impactors Podcast features #SocialImpactor Rich 'Raz' Razgaitis, Co-Founder & CEO of Flowater, the modern water dispenser that provides the world's best-tasting water while eliminating 1 billion single-use plastic bottles, by 2022.

Today I have the pleasure of interviewing Rich Razgaitis, (raz gatis), who goes by Raz, Co-Founder & CEO of FloWater, the world’s most advanced water refill station and member of the Inc. 500 list,

Raz is combining his 20+ years of leadership & tech experience to deliver a product that keeps 5.5 plastic water bottlesfrom reaching our landfills and oceans every second (170+ million to date).

Raz and I talk about the interesting topic of "David vs The Big Plastic Goliath. We set the scene during out interview together: plastic waste is understood to contribute to species extinction, ecological devastation, climate change, and human health problems. But despite holding the dubious distinction of being the world's biggest plastic polluter, Coca Cola and other industry giants are actively sabotaging efforts to curb plastic waste.

Raz gives his powerful answers to these questions:

1. Raz, how would you say your experience has been fighting (and winning) the good fight against industry interests bent on protecting their profits at all costs?

2. Businesses are big, hard to change, how do they build a new mission or lead a new juxtaposing industry?

3. As David, in this example, how are you building your business and staying true to your mission?

4. What advice would you give to people listening today, to start making their own impact in the world?
