The starting point is your mindset. There are many habits, tools, and hacks that have been passed down from generation to generation. Unfortunately, the majority of them are taking us in the opposite direction of our financial goal. You have to be deliberate and bold about end the generations of bad money habits. We make a decision to no longer have the rug pulled from under us.

Sometimes you will need to remind yourself of what success would look like for you. Be mindful not to get caught up in someone else's definition of success. Along with this you will need to build your resilience. Your actions and words will have to fall in alignment with your goals. Be clear about what you want to see when it comes to building wealth, retirement, and your children's lives.
