Steve interviews Blake J. Harris and Jonah Tulis (00:16:38). Blake and Jonah are on the podcast to promote their new documentary, Console Wars. Blake talks about turning his book into a documentary and Jonah talks about the long process required to make it a reality. Blake and Jonah talk about trimming the book and creating a narrative for the documentary, choosing to air it on CBS All-Access, and working with Seth Rogan and Evan Goldberg. Blake and Jonah also discuss if Nintendo or Sega is the villain, the role of sports games, and the emergence of Sony PlayStation.

Also, Jason Cole (01:14:48) joins us to talk about his new book on John Elway. Jason explains what it was like to be at the famous Stanford/Cal game in 1982, what it was like going to college with John Elway, and why he decided to write a book about Elway. Jason also tried to explain why the Stanley Cup isn't a major championship, talks about politics on twitter, and breaks down "The Drive."

Steve starts the show talking about Howard Stern's future at SiriusXM. The book club now has Dynasty, Three Ring Circus, and Elway in the rearview mirror and looks ahead to Sneed's book on Lincoln Riley. OLT ends the program with Steve talking about the passing of Eddie Van Halen.
