As we enter the new year, and everyone tries to stick to those healthy
habits—this fact is an important one to hear! A new study showed that early risers
who exercise on an empty stomach BEFORE breakfast can burn up to 20% more
body fat that those that are full or choose to burn calories at the end of the
workday. The researchers found that early in the morning you are more likely to
increase energy as you workout-- -allowing you to do more and choose better work
out options. A much better option than trying to figure it out at the end of a long
day. Also, research shows that eating after a workout on a truly empty stomach
will boost your metabolism. So, if you’re not a morning person – it’s time to make
some changes and become one.
