The newest diet isn’t a diet at all. It doesn’t name “good” or “bad” foods, involve measuring foods or require stepping on a scale. Yet it’s consistently linked to healthier weights, improved mental health and lower blood pressure and cholesterol levels, according to one Public Health Nutrition review. It’s called “Intuitive eating” and it relates more to listening to what your body is telling you – imagine that and using common sense. If we listen carefully, our bodies will tell you when you need to eat and what you need to eat. Also, if you track how you feel when you eat certain foods, you can train your body to crave the type of foods it actually needs to maintain a healthy and energetic status. So stop listening to marketing and start listening to your body.
