Rev. Carlton E. Smith is an ordained minister in the Unitarian Universalist Association and a member of its Congregational Life staff for the Southern Region. Much of his time goes to preaching, teaching, advising and facilitating the health and well-being of congregations and their leaders. He lives in the greater Memphis area and was recently a candidate for State Senate in north Mississippi. He serves on the Campaign Board for the LGBTQ Victory Fund and on the Board of Trustees for the Living Legacy Project, which conducts tours to Civil Rights era sites.
