Mike Rowe is the hero we all don't deserve. His stories are amazingly well written and obviously well told. Great bite-sized stories for anyone's enjoyment.

Mike has a great voice and is a wonderful orator. I think his skills are a bit limited by this format. The shtick of this show gets a bit old after a few episodes and it doesn't have enough meat to keep me coming back.

I Love This Guy! I am a big fan of Paul Harvey, and The Rest Of The Story (showing my age, but what a storyteller). Mike is our generation's Paul Harvey.

I grew up listening to Paul Harvey's "Rest of the story" so when I came across this podcast, I was thrilled. I'm always excited when this one comes in on my feed.

Entertaining podcast. Mr. Rowe tells excellent stories! I get excited when I can figure out who the episode is about.

Mike, you easily have one of the best narration voices combined with utterly fantastic storytelling cadence, tone, and on and on. You are a challenging model to emulate in the word of narration and storytelling. Love this “little” pod of yours and will continue listening as long as you put them out there.

I enjoy Mike Rowe. I like this style of storytelling where you find out who the person is at the end (even if it is a bit of a knockoff of Paul Harvey." This is a solid, quick and easy podcast.

Been a huge fan of Mike Rowe from Dirty Jobs, which grew when I started listening to 'The Way I Heard It' with Mike Rowe. Then I got to meet Mike today and chat with the man...and my respect shot through the roof. Believe it or not, this incredible human being is the same in person as he is on the podcast: kind, thoughtful, concise, and truly impressive.Can't recommend this podcast enough.

I never miss an episode.

Always insightful and well thought out. In an age of such polarization he brings great solutions for today. It is well worth listening to the whole hour of the podcast. I've gone back and listened to ALL the old podcasts too!

Hey Mike! I'm one of those guys who wasn't interested in a 4 year degree so went into the Technology trades in the 80s. No 4 year degree but am now nearing 60 and can look back on a satisfying career that provided very well for my little family. Love the long form podcast! It is so refreshing in a 140 character world where all people do is scream at each other. Oh...and I dropped off Facebook so I'm missing all your fun interactions with fans and critics. Maybe more podcasts relating to your social media interactions...they are real entertaining. Thanks for showing the value of a good work ethic and the difference it makes in small business! Question....How do we make "work" what all the cool kids are doing?
