Adrian earned his PhD at Harvard University in 1997 and is a Professor of Environmental Studies at the University of Wisconsin–Madison.

Adrian spoke about his start in carnivore coexistence in Africa, the parallels he saw with wolves in North America and the dynamics of wolf recovery and management in Wisconsin.
