Who Is David Burkus?

David is passionate about leadership, innovation, and strategy. He’s made it his purpose to facilitate the transfer of good ideas. Toward that end, he is focused on filling that gap between what science knows and what we most often do.

He is the author of The Myths of Creativity: The Truth About How Innovative Companies Generate Great Ideas. He writes regularly for Harvard Business Review and Inc magazine. He’s written articles in the past for Fast Company, Bloomberg BusinessWeek, PsychologyToday, 99U and an assortment of other publications. He’s also the founder and host of Radio Free Leader, a podcast that shares insights on leadership, innovation, and strategy.
