There is no more time. The agents of the Conclave - Compli Xender Bross and Rugate Terella Awl - launch their attack. One of the snarls has already fallen, blood has been spilled. The Splintered Breath make their stand.

Bris squares up for a fight, Challa gets in a tangle, Belka makes the catch, and Venz gets in the groove.
