A great format to tell stories that almost feel like deeply hidden secrets being told by friends. My peeve is that there is some inconsistency in the quality of each episode This is mainly because the stories are being told by the people who actually lived them. Not everyone with an interesting story is a natural born storyteller.

Recently discovered this pod and I can't get enough - the topics are so varied and it's so interesting to listen to people who have experienced things you haven't, and so far they've all been great storytellers so I've really been imagining myself experiencing some of those things (sometimes too much, I may have nearly cried at one episode already...)

This is gripping offbeat storytelling. Each episode consists of one person telling his or her crisis story, in their own words, without interruption. Sometimes it's a story about a medical event, sometimes it's a terrible relationship, sometimes it's a crime, sometimes it's something that happened in childhood, sometimes it's almost impossible to figure out what the reality of the situation really was. With each story, the listener is given a chance to find out what it's like to live in a reality that has been shattered. I definitely recommend this one.

Good podcast but it's riddled with ads.

Some relatedable stories, some unbelievable, all incredibly inspiring.

As a work of fiction it is a fantastic podcast. Now , I do not believe half the stories told. They are mostly extreme and some of them have inconsistencies and contracditions in the story.

I really like this podcast. It's very interesting. I love that it gets straight to the story. And i like that it is the people that went thru these extreme situations are the ones who get to tell their story.

Boring storytelling. The same 10 second musical loop for every episode. I gave up after 4 episodes of boring stories and that horrendous music on loop

At times a hard listen but a must. We need to understand victimhood, learn to relate, feel their pains and triumphs.

It's interesting to hear people's life stories. It's nice to listen to a good podcast while I do things like cooking, cleaning or walking my dog. I love it!

I love this podcast I love hearing people share their stories, challenges , suffering , understanding , it's a wonderful platform for learning about mental health , and all that we struggle with as human beings ...awonderful content to learn compassion and non judgment through others ...
